The work I have presented, Abandoned Morgue
Mortuarium Schoonselhof in Antwerp, Belgium was part of the Schoonselhof cemetery but was left abandoned during the 90s.
This is my first environment art work and I learned a lot and really enjoyed working on it
I have learned a lot both artistically and technically and I will continue to learn.
If I need to explain the process briefly
first of all, I asked "WH" questions and started from that, then I collected my necessary references, then I did my blockout and then I did the rest of the work in order of priority
I always made sure to get feedback throughout the process
I used vertex painting for the walls and floor and also made materials for them
I made the majority of the props myself from scratch and only used a few props from sketchfab that are very generic and do not take up a lot of space on the stage, such as a cardboard box.
Materials are all made from substance designer
Although some Leak and debris decals were made by me, I should also mention that I used some decals from Quixel Megascans.

Also, after I started the project, I realized that a few other people were doing this project, but I should also mention that I added some of Patrick Bormann's great work to my references, so I would like to thank him as well.
